Beans, Yard Long - Guyana (4" Pot)

Yard Long Beans (or Asparagus Bean) are THE bean to grow in Florida's hot, humid summer. Extremely heat tolerant and pest resistent. Cook the entire pod similar to traditional green beans but with a slightly nuttier flavor.

Here's what they have to say about the  Guyana Vairety:  "These long beans are extra long!  This special variety of yard long bean originates in Guyana and was brought into cultivation by legendary Florida fruit enthusiast Crafton Clift.  Crafton promised these long beans could get over 40 inches long and he wasn’t lying.  This variety really outdoes itself on the 'yard long' claim.  For several years now this has been a highly productive long bean variety for us."
