Chijimisai

A cross between two of the most delicious and hardy greens -- tatsoi and komatsuna -- the lightly savoyed leaves have a velvety texture and lightly umami flavor that make it a remarkable spinach substitute. Its nearly impossible to grow traditional "bloomsdale" spinach here in Florida, but this is pretty much the closest thing to it. Amazingly heat tolerant for a traditional leafy green.
