Kale - Ethiopian (4" pot)

The most heat tolerant kale variety that we have found. Really delicious raw. This is one of our favorite Florida summer salad greens. (But it also grows great in fall and spring) It does have a bit of a faster life cycle than you'd expect. But it readily re-seeds itself so if you let one plant go to seed, you'll  have this delicious beauty all over. 

This is actually a different species of typical kale, Brassica carinata, which evidently has much more heat and pest resistance that the traditional kale species, Brassica oleracea.  

Grown Organically from seed in our nursery.
