Jamaican Cherry (Strawberry Fruit Tree) (1 Gal Pot)

This fast grower produces an abundance of small red fruit with a sweet and unique flavor. Sometimes refered to as cotton candy Fruit. The flowers resemble strawberry flowers and the fruit resembles little red cherries, hence its common names, Strawberry Fruit Tree and Jamaican Cherry. It will produce large flushes in spring and fall with lingering fruits nearly all year long. The green immature fruit ripens quickly, changing to a solid red color within a day. We love to keep them in the freezer and eat them frozen. Pretty shade tree.
