Lettuce - Tokyo Bekana

(B. Rapa Chinensis) 44 days. Technically an Asian cabbage but makes a GREAT salad green - fast-growing plants make enormous loose heads of light green, ruffled leaves. Very mild - lettuce-like in flavor - has much better heat tolerance than traditional lettuce which wont survive past April in Florida. Also has some tolerance to frost.
