Melon - Minnesota Midget (4" pot)

Sweet heirloom canteloupe produces early, mini melons. Good for container gardens. Fruits are round-oval, about 4-6" in diameter. This little melon has a deep orange flesh that is succulent, sweet, and delicious down to the rind! Minnesota Midget is the ultimate melon for short-season areas, and the compact plants are ideal for small space or container gardens!

Pest/Disease Management: Does need to be protected from caterpillars, particularly when young, which can be done with hand picking or selectively spraying with organic caterpillar treatments. We use BT (sparingly) for caterpillars. Resistant to most mildews but may still occur. We treat with a spray of half water and half milk for mildew.
