Scallions are so easy to grow and so useful in the kitchen! Everyone should have this plant! In our garden, we very rarely pull the whole plant out of the soil when harvesting. Just cut them about an inch above the soil line, and they will just keep growing back. You can have the same plant for years. Minimal to no pest pressure.
